The M1 Garand is a .30-06 caliber semi-automatic rifle that was the standard U.S. service rifle during World War II and the Korean War. This rifle was born in 1943 and it has a barrel that is marked 11-42. The rifle is a gas-operated, 8 shot clip-fed, semi-automatic rifle. The walnut stock that is currently mounted is new CMP and it comes with its original stock that shows some use. The parkerized finish on the receiver and barrel is also very good.
