This "Gun That Won The West" lever action rifle features an iron frame with sideplates, frame loading port, forearm cap, tube mag., blue finish with case hardened parts, and oil finished stock and forearm. The gun is in decent shape for being manufactured in 1883. The bluing has turned to a mostly grey patina and the wood has several ding and a couple missing chucks here and there, but is a good honest 1873 and presents itself well.
